Praise the Lord our house sold today! The closing went well and we are now proud non-home owners! Thanks to all of you who prayed for things to go smoothly. It's such a relief to not worry about that anymore. Thank you, Jesus!!!!!

The Littlest Didyk
We had our ultrasound today and got see the littlest Didyk!! =) Our little one is just that - little - about an inch, but we could see the brain in his/her head, a beating heart, the beginnings of a spinal column and two feet and two hands. AMAZING! It's such a miracle. According to the size of the baby, our due date is somewhere around October 20.
Rachel has the flu...not fun for her or Andy as he's picked up all the home responsibilities of cooking dinner and getting Christopher fed and to bed too. He's wonderful! and I love him! So far we've kept her fever down with Tylenol, but please pray she recovers quickly. That on top of the morning sickness hasn't been good for keeping much down.
Also, our house is supposed to close tomorrow. We've set up a POA so we don't have to drive up to KY, but please pray everything goes smoothly. Thanks!

Christopher's Lastest
Here are a few of Christopher's latest adventures/accomplishments. Enjoy!
Bath time with bubbles. He's finally old enough to enjoy them.

Christopher has learned how to play with cars. He pushes them all around the room saying "voom voom." We have a boy! Cars and noises! =)

Mr. Independent.

Chilling with Daddy.

He loves to help unload the dishwasher.

His job is the silverware - and he does a fantastic job of it, don't you think?

First sidewalk chalk picture. Isn't it beautiful?!

Adventures in Nashville
So...we went to Nashville...to visit Bill and Amber...and things got a little wild!
Bill asked Andy to bring his big stunt kite. No problem. But as they were headed out the door on Saturday to fly it in 18mph wind, in the snow, they found a wake board in the garage...problem?

They proceeded to venture out back of Ballinger's house...

...and ride the wake board across the open field, pulled along behind Andy's kite!!!!! Needless to say, they had a blast. Amber soon joined them, and I opted to take pictures since being drug on my belly across the ground probably wouldn't have been quite as much fun for the baby.
Andy flies across the field.

Bill and Amber.

Amber fights the wind.

Bill's turn for a ride.

And check out my way-cool hubby in this video!
Poor Christopher was slightly distressed that he wasn't allowed out to have fun flying the kite too. He tried so hard to open the door and even brought me his tennis shoes to trade for the house-shoes he had on.

He finally decided being inside was fun too when Mommy opened the window to take pictures and he found the snow in the windowsill.

Cold!

And...

...delicious!

That night, we ate a delicious meal that Amber and Bill worked hard to prepare. The boys grilled the salmon and scallops outside in the cold!

Ready to eat.

Sunday afternoon we went to the Opry Mills Mall for lunch. We thought Christopher might enjoy the Aquarium restaurant and the Rain Forrest Cafe. He did! Here are a few pictures from our adventure:
Andy and Christopher walked through the Aquarium restaurant. All the walls and some parts of the ceilings are all part of a huge fish tank. It's pretty amazing!

Bill shows Christopher the butterfly at the Rain Forrest Cafe. Christopher was very excited to see a large version of an animal he recognizes and calls by the right name "bu-fly."

Amber points out the snake and monkeys swinging in the vines.

Christopher also went on his first carousel ride - he smiled, laughed and said "woah" every time the horse went up in the air. It was fun to ride with him.

...And finally, Christopher enjoyed a delicious meal of spaghetti. Can you tell he thoroughly enjoyed feeding himself? =)

It was a wonderful weekend shared with great friends. Thanks, Ballingers!

A Weekend Away
Andy and I had a wonderful mini-vacation Feb 22-24. The Whipples gave us a gift to a marriage retreat/conference in Charlotte, NC. Andy was able to take Friday off of work, and we spent the whole weekend focused on us and childless. Christopher stayed with Babu and Nana and had a wonderful time. He didn't want to go home when we picked him up, and we had to take him back to their house to tell Babu goodnight at bedtime b/c he just stood by the door crying for Babu. Pretty funny/cute!
We drove a Dodge Charger all weekend - it was fun through the mountains.

The drive was beautiful.

On the way home - happy and well rested from actually getting to sleep in a couple mornings!

The next weekend, we had Thomas and Courtney and their daughter Sunny over for breakfast. Thomas works with Andy at n*tara.
Christopher and Sunny had a great time playing together - I think Christopher found a girlfriend!
