"Hi, Mommy. Is this ok? Because it's fun!"
"Wet."
Playing with Christopher's telephone.
Friday night, Andy and I were able to go out on a date. There's so much time in an evening when you don't have to make/cleanup supper and put a kid to bed. It's amazing! Between 5:30 and 9:45, we went out-to-eat, tested some mattresses in a furniture store, went and saw a movie, and spent awhile at the bookstore before heading home. It was fun and relaxing. Thanks to SB and Bethany for keeping the monkey for us!
Saturday we had fun sleeping in, flying the kite and then hanging out at Eorgans' for dinner. Thomas slow-cooked two whole chickens on the grill, plus a rack of ribs. It was delicious!
Sunday we enjoyed a morning at church, naps in the afternoon, and shopping for tomato plants, herb plants and light bulbs in the evening. We watched "Elizabeth, the Golden Age." It's fun to see movies based on historical events/people. Christopher has had a fever all week, but seems to be getting a little better now. Fortunately, Ibuprofen has kept that under control and he's been pretty much himself. He's very excited and "happy" that "Shosho, Gunkle Sisilas, Aunt Anna and Aunt Mollie" are coming home tomorrow. It will be wonderful to have them all home.
