5 years!

It's hard to believe Andy and I have been married 5 years already - it seems to have gone so quickly, yet it also feels like we've always been married. It's hard to imagine life before/without each other. We're happy to report we're still very much in love and glad we married each other.

We had a wonderful day together. After playing with Christopher for a couple hours this morning, we all went to the hospital to visit with Kaela. We were able to take Christopher into the NICU today to see his sister. It was so much fun to watch him look at her. I'll post more pictures of that tomorrow. Then Andy and Christopher had a father-son date to the nearby park where they played on the playground and hiked through the woods. Christopher dragged Andy to the top of one of the hills, banging his stick on the bushes and ground as he climbed. At the top, he expressed to Andy that "Hiking rules!" What an expression for a 22 month old...I'm sure he must have heard that from us previously, but pretty funny for him to remember it and use it appropriately.























This evening, Andy and I were able to get dressed up and go out on a date to celebrate with each other. We have so much to be thankful for. It was fun to do something normal and laugh and reminisce over the past year. I love my Hubby! After dinner, we hung out in a bookstore, looked through old videos, and just had fun being together. Andy used all his cool photo gear to take our anniversary picture - I really like his technique in the first picture - he did a great job. I'm proud of him.
