Playing with Cousin Isaiah

Christopher spent most of the day yesterday at Aaron and Faith's house, playing with Cousin Isaiah. Faith said they had a great time and got along well. I visited for about 1/2 hour when I went to pick them up, and enjoyed the fellowship and watching the boys play. They were so cute taking turns on the slide out on the back porch, and climbing in and out of the little car. It was great for Christopher to get some playtime with another kid - I think it did his spirit good. He had quite the major temper tantrum yesterday morning, simply over going upstairs to get his diaper changed and get cleaned up and dressed. Normally he loves getting in the tub, but I think it was his day to have a melt down after Daddy and Mommy had a rough emotional day the previous morning. Poor guy - I'm sure it's hard for him to understand everything that's going on, but he seems to be hanging in there pretty well and bringing lots of smiles to our faces.

Taking turns on the slide.

Isaiah was pushing Christopher across the porch in the car.

Kaela is doing well this morning. She has had her oxygen off and on all night long. The nurse had taken it off her for a little over 2 hours by the time I arrived this morning, and she was satting 97-100% on room air. Her biliruben was almost normal this morning. Andy was able to visit her last night for over an hour, and hold her for about half of the time. I held her for about 30 minutes this morning too...she's so sweet...she feels like you're holding a cloud or air she's so light. She did gain 40g yesterday, so she's back up to 2lb9oz after having dropped to 2-7. Hopefully with these increased feedings and fortified milk she'll just bulk right up now.
