Christopher opening his new tools from De-Da...this set even came with a tool box.
Andy took Dad to tour a helicopter plant on Friday - they had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
Saturday night, we went out to eat at a German restaurant. The food was great and Christohper was highly entertained by the couple performing live - singing and playing the accordian. After every song was finished, Christopher would hold up his hand to the man and say "Good Job!" The guy loved it. We had fun singing to some of the polkas that we knew.
Sunday, Christopher got to hang out with both his Grandpa's. Babu and De-Da took Christopher to a couple old warehouses downtown that are for sale, and he ran all around and played inside them...having fun and entertaining too. We all ate lunch together at an Indian restaurant - my favorite! So delicious.
After naptime on Sunday, Dad, Andy, Christopher and I drove up to Roan Mountain. Around the perimeter of the parking lot, there were a TON of blackberry bushes. So while I pumped in the car, Dad and Christohper watched Andy pick blackberries.
"Where Daddy go?"
"Der he is!" Surrounded by 6 foot tall blackberry bushes.
After pumping, picking berries and cleaning up a poop explosion that ended up all over Christopher AND Mommy...we finally began our hike up to the top of the first bald.
It was a beautiful day for hiking, and wonderful to relax and get some fresh air.
Onward and upward!
Christopher, Andy and De-Da at the top of the balds - I LOVE where we live.
Christopher wanted out of his carrier so he could hike around with his stick. He had fun beating the ground and climbing on rocks!
"Hiking stick!" *giggle giggle*
Mommy and Christopher.

Sharing secrets.

Three generations of Didyk men:
Andrew Steven, Christopher Steven and Edward Steven.
"Gorgeous!" as Christopher would say.
It was a great weekend and we were all really thankful Dad could come visit.
Kaela is doing well today. She's still tolerating her feedings and is up to 17mL of breastmilk each feed. They d/c'd her lipids today since she's getting enough fat in the breastmilk now. She weighed in at 4lb 4oz tonight. Grow, Kaela! Praise the Lord for His continued presence in our lives and for sustaining us through this - 5 weeks down... X to go?!?!
